TNO has opened applications for organisations wanting to invest in and become part of a national infrastructure of IX Labs. The IX Labs form the foundation on which the IX community gains access to new state-of-the-art facilities. This call funds investment in and the operation of up to five IX Labs, with the aim of keeping them available to the IX community over the long term, beyond the end of the CIIIC programme.
The five IX Labs form the national infrastructure and offer unique settings for organisations working on the development of IX productions and services. Developing a business model for operating the IX Lab is essential. An IX Lab can consist of a single organisation or a partnership of several partners.
Dialogue phase for developing proposals
Parties can put themselves forward as an IX Lab, backed by the appropriate evidence, and will be admitted to the dialogue phase, where they can align with TNO and other participants. The dialogue phase is intended to develop the content proposal for the IX Lab into a full proposal that functions within a national infrastructure. Based on the content proposals, TNO will select up to five IX Labs to form a consortium with.
